	何よりも日本語で読めるのがうれしい本です。 　 楽譜は上下二段組で、上がメロディ用、下がソロ用で、両方ともタブ譜という変わった構成です。選曲は版権の関係もあるのでしょうが、フィドルチューンが多い。その結果かもしれませんが、アレンジもベタ弾き風です。結構、このアレンジで高速で弾き切るのは難しいはすです。バックアップやフィル、さらには、アイディアのあるフレーズが書かれていません。その意味では（ブルーグラスの）初心者向けには不適かもしれません。 　ある程度、弾きこなせるならば、細かい神経質なアレンジなので、弾き切る事に力を注ぐといい練習になると思います。

	この本は英語の本なのですが、確か、日本語版も出ていたと思います。 　譜面は上下に段譜で、上段が五線譜、下段がタブ譜という標準的な構成。見易い譜面になっています。 　最初から中ほどまでが入門用といった内容ですが、あまり実用的なアレンジとは思えませんでした。後半はフィドルチューンあり、クロス・ピッキング、スプリット・ストリングスまで触れていて幅広い内容です。さらに、ビル・モンロー、ボビー・オズボーン、ジェシー・マクレイノルズ、フランク・ウェイクフィールド、ジョン・ダッフィーを取り上げています。弾いてみても楽しいアレンジです。一方、出版時期が古いので、内容もそれほど新しくないのが欠点かもしれません。

	タイトルの通り、ジェシー・マクレイノルズの演奏の採譜で構成された本です。 　譜面はタブ譜の一段のみ。クロスピッキング、スプリットストリング、高速の単音弾きと、偏り無く取り上げられています。それぞれの採譜がほぼ、１コーラスに限られているのが惜しいところでしょうか。 　自分の演奏のアイディアの源として、十分に利用できます。ジェシー・マクレイノルズの凄いところは、こういった複雑なフレーズをきちんと弾き切ってしまうところです。この本を見ても、あるいは、レコードからコピーしても、その辺りがわからないと、意味が無いかもしれません。

	非常に充実している本です。 　ジェスロ・バーンズのソロの採譜を集めたものですが、チュートリアルを意識して構成されており、彼の特異なテクニックを分解して示してあります。いくつかのフィドルチューンを除けば、アレンジ自体というよりも、そのアレンジに利用されているアイディアはとても面白いものです。ジェスロのスタイルに拘るか、どうか、それを別にしても、自分自身のマンドリンのアレンジに新しい方向を開いてくれると思います。 　楽譜は、五線譜とタブ譜の二段組の標準的なもの。印刷も大きく読みやすい楽譜です。
